Sammy Oliech opened scores against Egerton Wasps in Resolution Impala Saracens’ 2nd match of the 2017 Dala 7s. Kwemoi converted with ease. Kwemoi’s boot top dressed subsequent tries by Davis Makori & Paul Mutsami but failed to collect the extras when Makiya scored at the halftime buzzer.
Half-time: Resolution Impala Saracens 26-0 Egerton Wasps
Timothy Makiya was on form in this match. He went over to register his brace after collecting a pass from Samson Onsomu. Kwemoi had no difficulty finding the posts. The match was never going to end without a Mark Kwemoi try. The youngster, who currently blazes hot beat 2 defenders on the wing and shuttled across the try-box & dotted for his try. He then kicked over neatly for a 40-0 full-time score.

We are happy with the win. The score-line is an interpretation of the system & process. We could have won with more points if we upped the tempo. We made a couple of mistakes & that kept us out of the fifties. It has been a good decision coming to Dala 7s thus far. Competition between us & the teams present will definitely play a role in rugby development especially in this region.
Oscar Osir – Resolution Impala Saracens 7s Head Coach
I believe 40 is a fair reflection of the game. It would have ended 42 had we kicked over all our tries. Our opponents played to the best of their strengths & according to their skill-set. We have probably seen the best of performances from Sammy Oliech. He came in a little late into the series, but he has become much better at breaking lines. We could say we have not been tested yet, but await Resolution Kisii who we know will obviously want to prick us.
