Resolution Impala Saracens’ Prop Dennis Karani, lock Simon Muniafu, flanker Eric Kerre & scrum-half Samson Onsomu have been named in Kenya Simbas starting side to go against Uganda Cranes this Saturday – 10th June in Kampala.
Prop James Kubasu, who didn’t receive Head Coach – Jerome Paarwater’s nod to even start off the bench when Kenya went against Germany on 27th May 2017 at the RFUEA will finally earn his first Kenya XV cap. Leo Seje Owade who replaced Kenya Harlequins’ centre – Patrice Agunda in the 2nd half on his first Kenya XV match will also start off the bench.
Ugandan soil provides wonderful opportunity for Kerre and Onsomu to increase points to their names after they each scored a try 12 days ago even though Kenya narrowly lost 29-30 to the Germans. It is also worth noting that Erick Kerre debuted for the Kenya Simbas last year in Kampala – Uganda.
Impala contributed 6 players to the Kenya Simbas for the 2017 International Season. This weekend sees all the players actively involved in rugby. Resolution Impala Saracens is also very proud to have team physio – Chris Makachia working with the Kenya Simbas.
