Machine reached the last four of the competition after a dominant display which now sees the University of Nairobi students ready themselves for a semi final clash against CUEA Monks who beat TUK 71-00. Machine scored a whooping eleven tries, five of those being converted for a final tally of 65 points.
The losing side, Strathmore managed a single try through Ian Bulali but were largely ineffective in a match where their lack of discipline severely dented any chances of reducing the challenge posed by Mean Machine. A red card to Strathmore’s Peter Galvin and a yellow shown to Michael Onyango will get John Mbai’s charges thinking deep before the team starts their 2018/19 ESS competition.
