Shadon Munoko scored a hattrick as University of Nairobi’s Mean Machine beat Catholic University 34-20 on Saturday to sail through to Impala Floodies Universities final.
Munoko’s side will take on USIU in the Universities final on Saturday October 27 after the latter dismissed Swaras 17-13.
Machine ran in five tries -three of which were converted plus a penalty against Catholic’s two tree tries, two conversions and a penalty.
Joining Munoko in the score-sheet for Machine were Antony Baka and scrum-half Marvin Kirungi with Eric Muthama adding the extras. Winston Saidi, Bonface Amimo and Brehma Namisi ran over for Monks with Saidi also scoring the penalty.
In their win over Swara, USIU had three tries one of which converted against Swara’s two penalties and a converted try.
