Finally, Resolution Impala Saracens 7s players will have a chance to measure their match fitness against other teams this Saturday 19th August 2017. The team which has been in intensive training for more than 2 months is expected to take part in a mini-tournament to be played at the Jamhuri Showground.
Speaking to our media correspondent after a pool session yesterday, team coaches Frank Ndong & Oscar Osir confirmed that the mini- tournament will bring together Resolution Impala Saracens, Nondescripts RUFC, Nakuru based Menengai Oilers, Menengai Cream Homeboyz & Strathmore Leos.
Osir went on to add, “It would be a good opportunity for players to gauge themselves against each other. We’ve been training for a significant amount of time & this is a good opportunity to understand if there has been any progress made. It will also allow us to come into the next week better informed as we prepare for start of the 7s campaign on September 2nd at Driftwood 7s.”
