Resolution Impala Saracens 7s Head Coach Nick Odera has named his 12 best to take on the Prinsloo task this weekend.
In an effort to register better performance than what the team posted last weekend during the Driftwood 7s, a couple of changes have been effected. Daniel Abok, Lameck Dunde, Nato Simiyu & Kevin Ochami will be left behind.
Paul Mutsami, a youngster who has shown hunger since boot camp to date earns his starting role in the team with sheer confidence. An experienced combination of Kenya Internationals; Brian Nyikuli, Davis Makori, Sam Onsomu (captain) & Innocent Simiyu earn tickets to the Rift Valley tourney as well. They are joined by utility players Derrick Mayar, Sidney Muniafu & Richard Sidindi. A new inclusion to the team is former Pan Africa Strathmore Leos player – Samuel Motari
2014 Prinsloo 7s top try scorer Pius Shiundu returns to ‘Suguta Valley’ a prince under pressure & will be looking to defend his honor this year.
The team is grouped alongside hosts Top Fry Nakuru RFC, University students Blak Blad RC & recently promoted Makueni. The 2015 Prinsloo 7s will be played at the Nakuru Athletics Club on the 29th and 30th of this month.
