Resolution Impala Saracens has made ten changes, two positional, to the starting lineup that beat defending champions KCB last weekend, ahead of their return leg against Blak Blad. One change is injury enforced seeing Anthony Nyandigisi replace Nato Simiyu in the fly half role.
“Every week is a new challenge and we feel this team is the best suited to meet this one,” says Director of Rugby, Fred Ollows.
…
“Blad will be more confident having had a win over Nondies, after we last met, and a strong showing against playoff contenders Homeboyz. So, our preps have left nothing to chance”
Commenting on the apparent many changes, Ollows says, “Very little separates these players. All of our players carry the responsibility of the badge seriously”
The two teams met three weeks ago, in the first leg, where the Sarries got a strong 81-0 win over the students. Sarries are top of the Kenya Cup log with 65 points while Blad are 11th with 23 points.
Two players, fullback George Okowa and lock Eric Kerre, return to the run-on side from injury watch.
The match kicks off at 2 pm, followed by KCB vs Homeboyz RFCs at 4pm, in a double header weekend at Impala Club on Ngong Road.
