Impala Ladies lift plate in KRU League

Impala Saracens ladies’ side put in a wonderful display of resilience as they took on the KRU Women’s League yesterday.

The spirited ladies put forth the best of contest against Homeboyz ladies but lost 34-0. With lessons learnt, took on Mwamba ladies in their second match, conceded only two tries to lose 14-0. The ladies finally found their winning charm after beating Shamas 15-0. The two losses & single win had them drop to the Plate Semis where they ran 29 unanswered points against the Varsity Warriors.

The Plate Final was a case of confirming that the 15-0 preliminary match win against Shamas was no fluke. The ladies went ahead to run 3 unanswered tries against Shamas.
