Resolution Impala Saracens ended their 2017 Nakuru 10s campaign after losing 0-10 to Nakuru RFC at the Nakuru Athletics Club in the Plate Finals.
Kerre Eric could have placed Impala on the lead in the early minutes of the first half, but he was casual with grounding the ball and gifted Nakuru a scrum down from which to launch attack. Nakuru worked their way out of own 22 & after 3rd ruck, Peter Kioko dropped a gear and disappeared. His final destination was the Impala try box. Donald Oluoch’s conversion thus confirmed good closed the first half with a 0-7 score board reading.
Impala would work on attempting to overturn proceedings but Nakuru seemed the more interested side. Ominde Geoffrey’s drop goal extended Nakuru’s lead. Celebration filled the Nakuru Athletics Club after the hosts were confirmed the 2017 Nakuru 10s Plate Winners.
