Tour Captain – Samuel Motari scored the first try sending Impala 5-0 ahead of Menengai Oilers. Onsomu missed the conversion. Oilers would pool efforts to score under the posts and convert but Onsomu cut short their 7-5 lead, scoring an unconverted try that sent Impala 3 points ahead at the halftime buzzer. He would later shred Oilers defence and ground the ball. His attempt at finding the posts flew wide. Although Oilers desperately sought to get back into the game, the hooter had already blown and all Sidindi had to do was kick it out for full-time.
