Prop Mike Munyua has been preferred to Joshua Momanyi in the starting Resolution Impala Saracens Boks XV team to face BlakBlad RC this Saturday 3rd February 2017 at the Blad Bin – Kenyatta University. Lock Shem Angugo returns to action after weekends of playing water-boy as he recovered from an injury that has kept him off contact for the better part of the season. He will pair with Edwin Gatungo who has since regained fitness. A notable start has been included at open-side flank. Steve Shammah, who came on as a substitute in Impala’s 29-10 upset of Kabras last weekend, has been offered the chance to start at 7.

Fly-half – Kanyiri Kariuki will not be involved in rugby this weekend. Lionel Lewa snaps up the opportunity to play at 10. Centres – George Okowa & Robert Aringo return to the Kenya Cup team scheduled to play at 4pm. The technical bench has made a tactical decision to play Joash Ngesa & Bob Otieno at inside & outside centre respectively. 2 changes have been made to the back three. Timothy Makiya, who watched both matches from the bench last weekend, has been fielded at right wing. Fullback – Robin Kiplang’at, who started from the 4pm bench last week, starts in the 2pm fixture this weekend.

Interesting inclusions have been made to the bench. Hooker Collins Chogo & former Kenya Simbas Prop – Steve Juma will be seeking to announce their long awaited comeback after regaining match fitness.
