It is a 13th Place finish for Resolution Impala Saracens after a torrid Kabeberi 7s campaign.
Masinde Muliro were quick off the blocks, scoring two converted tries courtesy of Kevin Abuga & Sebastian Ochieng. Both tries were converted by Norbert Makhakha. The Gazelles had to wait until the 6th minute to break through Masinde Muliro defence. Paul Mutsami’s wrestling skills unshackled him from 2 MMUST players. Their sprawling on the floor opened up 60 metres for a run ending in the try box. Mabwa’s attempt at converting went short.
HT: Resolution Impala Saracens 5-14 MMUST
Mark Kwemoi’s individual brilliance on a tap and go yielded a corner flag try. His attempt to find the posts went unsuccessful. Dominance in possession created platform for Mutsami to once again rough up MMUST defenders. He dragged 2 with him into the try-box. Kwemoi’s boot added the much needed extras. With only seconds to play, George Okowa lost the ball forward. Masinde Muliro could have scored off set-piece, but resolute defending by Timothy Makiya saved the afternoon.

Resolution Impala Saracens Captain – Sam Motari:
This was my first time playing in the 13th place competition. We expect to redeem ourselves from this dismal performance when we go to Driftwood.
Resolution Impala Saracens Head Coach – Oscar Osir:
We blew hot and cold, but our captain was influential in getting us the forward ball. I also noticed Adongo looking decent in defence. The introduction of Billy Omondi in the second half got us back into match. He recollected 2 kick offs & this asserted our desire to come back into the match. This coming week, we’ll definitely work extensively on our tactical discipline.
