Richard Sidindi could have placed Impala ahead in the 2nd minute of the game, but he lost the ball forward in contact with only 2 metres left to the try box. He would make up for his mistake by play-making for Billy Omondi to score. Omondi’s try, although scored in an easy to convert position proved challenging for Mark Kwemoi. His boot kicked it out wide to the astonishment of many a fan. A mistake he would regret later.
HT: Resolution Impala Saracens 5-0 Kabras Sugar
If only Impala could have maintained ball in hand, the match result could have been different. Kabras, who settled very fast in this half, took advantage of a poorly thrown line-out by Sidindi. Brian Bango walked into the try box after Kwemoi greased the tackle. Dominic Osino converted to give Kabras the lead. Osino could have stretched Kabras’ lead by a possible 7 points but he ‘scored’ outside the try box.
If only Sidindi could have scored, Kwemoi converted in the first half and Eric Kerre had not passed the ball forward at last play, maybe the result could have been different.

Resolution Impala Saracens Captain – Samwel Motari:
It is unfortunate that players are not executing the plan as advised. This pool has turned out to be a maths contest. Our immediate resolve now is to attempt pile up as many points as we can against Strathmore Leos in order to increase our chances of getting into the main cup (pending our opponents’ remaining games).
