Regional Logistics Mombasa dominated matters from kick off, keeping Impala on the back foot with lightning fast passes & speedy feet. It took Leon Adongo’s experience in defence to save Impala from chasing the match. It took 3 minutes for Impala to settle.
Paul Mutsami scored Impala’s first try borne out of a mix of heavy contact and determined feet. Paul Mutuku converted with ease. Centre – Billy Omondi picked up his own grubber to scoring at the 2nd minute. Mutuku converted to end the half

Impala’s solid defence & hastiness to reaction is to thank for a stainless second half. Billy Omondi’s corner flag try scored in the 12th minute went unconverted by Mutuku. Kwemoi’s attempt at converting Dulo Mayar’s try scored through sheer ferocity ensured a 24-0 register at the 13th minute. Mombasa could have scored, but Adongo’s determined feet and unforgiving tackling ensured a spotless score-sheet.
Resolution Impala Saracens will meet Kenya Harlequins in the Challenge Trophy Finals.

Resolution Impala Saracens Patron – Mr. Mang’eli:
I am a bit worried about our take-off. I was here when we played our first game against KCB and we seemed to not be able to take off. The same nonchalance was transferred to the Kabras match. I am left to wonder how we beat Strathmore 45-5 in our last match. Today has been a major improvement from yesterday, but we still have issues with our take off and need to fix that as soon as possible.
