Otieno’s double takes USIU to Floodies Varsity Semis
usiu

USIU are through to Impala Floodlit semis after beating nationwide side Daystar Falcons 15-13 in the University Category on Saturday October 13 at Impala Club.

The Championship side led 8-7 at the interval after Eliud Mulakoli’s penalty and Tobias Otieno’s try against Daystar’s try by centre Kelvin Kioko that was converted by Kelvin Atandi.

Otieno was at it again in the second half with Mulakoli booting the extras for USIU to move to 15-7 but Falcons were able to boot two more penalties through Atandi but that was not enough for a possible comeback.

USIU’s win means they will face SWARA who beat USIU 38-13 in the Main Cup Semi to be played next Saturday 20th Oct 2018
