Kenya Harlequin fended off a possible comeback from Nakuru RFC to win 22-13 and reach the Floodies 2018 final to be played on Saturday October 20 at Impala Club.
George Owino’s try in the latter stages ensured Quins take control of the scoreboard.
Quins led 15-3 after tries from Frank Wanyama and Edward Oseko as well as Brian Beckham’s penalty goal and a conversion.
Collins Onyango fielded a successful drop goal to bring the scores to 6-15 and the deficit would be reduced further to 13-15 after Edwin Anunda’s converted try.
Owino however ruined Nakuru’s comeback to shoot Quins to 22-13 which means they will play Mwamba who beat Nondies in the first Plate semifinal.
