Ofafa Jericho saved the best for last in a match which was all for Alliance to win. Alliance controlled proceedings for the better part of the first half, but Ofafa stood resolute to forcing a 0-0 score at the 30th minute.
A clever 45th minute drop-goal by Alliance High School’s Victor Kiptoo could have been enough to drag his side to lifting the trophy, but Isaac Maloba had other plans. He struggled to ground the ball, seemed to lose it forward on landing, but with consultation, referee K. Wambogo confirmed Ofafa’s win.
