The Resolution Impala Saracens Boks plays in their second final in the season after winning the Eric Shirley Shield. They meet Topfry Nakuru RFC II.
The Ngong Road side qualified after beating next door neighbour Kenya Harlequins ‘Arturos’ 23-17 in a match played at the Boks backyard. The Rift Valley side made the final by beating Kabras Sugar II 13-0 in the other semi final at Nakuru Athletic Club.
The final will be played at the RFUEA grounds come 2:00pm on Saturday 18th before the Enterprise Cup final.
Director of Rugby Fred Ollows has made three changes to the starting line up ahead of his 4th final this season. Tyson Okoth comes into the side as eighth man which sees Rainer Omondi, who played there last weekend, return to lock.
Jeremy Mwambu moves to outside centre, from inside centre, to pave way for Carlos Raoul to start there from last weekend’s replacements bench.
Joshua Momanyi (tighthead prop) and David Moenga (back) enter the replacements bench, from being uninvolved last weekend.
Ollows said, “The Boks have churned out consistent performances through the season and should crown it with a double by winning the knockout Mwamba Cup for the division double. We haven’t won the Mwamba Cup for quite a long time and are keen to change that”
