Prop Soita Wekesa has made a return to starting in the currently unbeaten RESOLUTION Impala Saracens Boks side. His inclusion is made necessary by Stephen Juma’s promotion to sit on the Gazelles bench.
Kevin Okeyo & Erick K’opondo, the locks who started last weekend against Kenya Harlequins have been rested and their positions taken up by Dan Otela & Bakata Elisapana.
Edwin Gatungo, the no nonsense flanker sits on the Gazelles bench. Wambiri Chege steps into his position. Flanker Steve Shammah is rested for this weekend. The ambitious Elvis Oroko fills his boots.
Scrumhalf Ian Mabwa and flyhalf Robin Kiplang’at pair up to control proceedings. Jeremy Mwambu who started last weekend, sits on the bench.
The only other change in the backline that started against Quins last weekend is outside centre – Billy Omondi’s inclusion. The centre who scored a brace in the Boks’ 24-20 comeback win over Homeboyz 3 weeks ago is expected to inject the much needed firepower to close this match at the 40th minute if not earlier.
