The Resolution Impala Saracens technical bench has released an exciting list of 13 players to take on the 2017 Christie 7s.
Leo Seje Owade & Eric Kerre are poised to play their first matches of the shorter version of the game this season after a brilliant season with the Kenya XV side. George Okowa who sustained a groin injury in Mombasa is back. Overall 7s team captain – Leon Ndongo has also been cleared by the medical team. Leon has been out of action nursing a bruise on the rib. Sammy Oliech did not play Sepetuka 7s to his best after a knock in the 26-19 win over Homeboyz but he has been confirmed fit to play this weekend. Ian Minjire was unavailable for Sepetuka 7s, but has been confirmed good to feature in the team this weekend.
During the week, Resolution Impala Saracens 7s Head Coach – Oscar Osir had hinted on impactful changes to the squad. After careful assessment of dynamics this week, him & assistant coach – Nick Abok have put together very strong combinations capable of flipping the NSC table after Sunday, 15th October 2017.
Resolution Impala Saracens are in Pool B & play Mean Machine RFC at 10.10 am, Kisii RFC at 12.50 pm & Nakuru at 4.30 pm.
