Frank Wanyama placed Quins ahead in the opening minutes of the match but Joseph Aredo failed to find the posts. Wanyama’s try was 2 minutes later cancelled out by Samuel Motari’s aggression. The Resolution Impala captain powered his way through Wanyama, enroute the try box. Mark Kwemoi converted to give Impala the half-time lead

If only Impala played to their strengths; pace and agility, the team could have registered a different full-time scoreline, but Richard Sidindi’s attempt at piercing through a midfield that seemed wide open encountered crosswinds. The resultant turnover helped build Quin confidence. Cyprian Kuto and Edward Shitanda capitalised on Impala’s indiscipline in handling to scoring 2 tries which both went unconverted. Impala’s focus now moves to Dala 7s which shall be played in Kisumu on 8/9th September 2018
