Hooker Collins Chogo has been listed to start from the Kenya Cup bench this Saturday. His absence from the Boks is filled by Kelvins Karani. Lock – Paul Oimbo will start from the bench. Edwin Gatungo has been named to start in his place at left-lock. Gatungo’s move from blind-side flank to lock necessitates a change in the back-row. Evans Omondi & Jeremy Griffin will start at blind-side and open side flank respectively. Valentino Cosmas maintains his starting 8 position from the 17-35 Mwamba Cup loss to Homeboyz earlier on in the week. The technical bench has opted to make wholesome changes at scrum-half and fly-half respectively. Patrick Mutuku & Anthony Nyandigisi, who started in the mid-week Mwamba Cup match will not play in the ESS match this Saturday. While Nyandigisi has been named to start from the bench in the 4pm match, Patrick Mutuku will not be involved in competition this weekend. Bernard Rotich & Kanyiri Kariuki have been tasked with controlling proceedings at 9 and 10 respectively. One change has been made in midfield. Bob Otieno starts at inside centre. Daniel Dindi at outside centre. George Okowa who started at outside centre has been named to start from the bench. 2 changes have been made to the back three. Derrick Wechuli maintains his left wing start. David Moenga will not be involved in battle this weekend. His right wing jersey is taken up by Martin Musau. Anthony Odhiambo who played in the Boks’ number 15 jersey against Homeboyz on Wednesday will start in the Kenya Cup fixture. Sidney Chacha has been named to start at fullback. When the Boks last met Nakuru on 24th November 2018 at the Nakuru Athletic Club, it required Anthony Odhiambo’s ingenuity with the boot to split the posts for a 17-14 last minute win.
