Menengai Cream Homeboyz have finished third at the Impala floodlit tournament after beating Mean Machine 34-22 on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Impala Club.
The Deejayz lost to KCB in Cup semis last weekend to drop to playoffs while Machine had lost to Impala Saracens.
Homeboyz ran in six tries and two conversions against Mean Machine’s three tries, two conversions and one penalty.
Leonard Mugaisi, Thomas Okidia, Nelson Sangurah, Israel Soi, Collins Shikoli and Stanley Isogol touched down for Homeboyz as Grevis Onyino, Isaac Waweru and Ian Wando with Eugene Musungu adding the conversions and penalty.
The two sides complete their pre-season as Homeboyz readies to take on Kenya Harlequins in the Kenya Cup opener while Mean Machine open their Championship campaign against the CUEA Monks.
