Resolution Impala Saracens have named their match day 23 to face Kenya Commercial Bank in the final of the 36th Edition of the Impala Floodlit Tournament.

Speaking to the Floodies 2017 media team, Resolution Impala Saracens Director Of Rugby Mr. Fred Ollows revealed a number of changes made to the team that labored to beat Mean Machine RFC 20-10 last weekend. Props – James Kubasu & Joshua Momanyi shall start in place of Edgar Obino & Stephen Ayora who started at loose head & tighthead respectively. Harritone Munai will start at blind side flank – a position that Joel Omer started in last weekend. Whole changes have been made at midfield. Joash Ngesa & Ishmael Mokaya who started at inside & outside centre respectively last weekend, will stay uninvolved in rugby this weekend. In their positions, the experienced Robert Aringo & reliable George Okowa are fielded. Both Aringo & Okowa have regained fitness & will definitely be a pair that keeps the KCB defence busy. Paul Mutsami, Anthony Nyandigisi & Kelvin Ronnoh; fast flanker, clever centre & solid prop respectively, never made it to the list of 23 last weekend but have been very promising in training & therefore start from the bench. Ronnoh is Impala’s latest acquisition from USIU.

In as much as Impala has fielded a strong team, Head Coach Frank Ndong’ is aware of a fact: “Unlike the previous season, the KCB team we are seeing this season is unpredictable. Their skill levels are high up there & they are playing more open. We will need to dig deeper to destabilize them tomorrow.” he acknowledges.
