Homeboyz will feature in the semi finals of the clubs category after posting a 37-30 win over Nakuru RFC
To seal the win, Homeboyz scored four tries, four conversions and three penalties while the losers Nakuru were put on board through tries by Chrispin Onyango, John Mbugua, Paul Lusesi and Churchill Ooko.
Recently signed from Western Bulls, Duncan Abuyeka contributed seven points to Nakuru’s score after kicking a penalty and two conversions. Collins Onyango also kicked a penalty for the losing side who had the final say of the game through Abuyeka’s second two-pointer after Paul Lusesi had gone over.
Homeboyz try scorers were Joseph Amalemba, Mohammed Omollo and Stanley Isogol who scored during both halves. Another former Western Bulls player, Evin Asena kicked seventeen points for the Deejays. Asena kicked three penalties and the conversions to all four tries for Homeboyz who will face the winner of the Mwamba vs KCB quarter final clash in next Saturday’s semi final
