Resolution Impala Saracens have announced their 23 man squad to face Kenya Harlequins this Saturday 13th October 2018 at the Impala Club. A number of interesting inclusions in fielding have been made by Frank Ndong’ & Oscar Osir. Wekesa Soita starts at loose-head prop. Joshua Matasi starts at hooker. Ian Mabwa plays at scrum-half. Samuel Oliech who has not played competitive 15s in almost 2 years but has been super impressive in training over the past 14 weeks returns to start at fly-half. A consistent David Moenga earns a starting chance on the left wing. Paul Mutsami who is known for being an unforgiving back-row player has moved to inside centre.
Resolution Impala Saracens Head Coach – Frank Ndong’:
I believe we have prepared adequately. The training numbers have been improving over the past 14 weeks. Our intensity in training has also seen a drastic improvement. Matasi and Wekesa have been showing great form. They worked for those jerseys. We need a lot of composure, control, deception and a brilliantly polished boot this Saturday. No one else is better placed at this time, to play in the fly-half position, but Sammy Oliech.
Resolution Impala Saracens Backs Coach – Oscar Osir:
It is for all of us to see. Paul Mutsami wants to play at inside centre. It is fairly new for both him and us – the technical team. We know the inside-centre channel is an extremely busy road, but his back-row skills should be enough to stop the opponent’s attempts at breaching. Mutsami has very polished handling skills and we are keen on using that particular strength for continuity especially in that position.
