Champions Kenyatta University Blak Blad set up a final date against 2012 champions USIU after emerging 29-12 winners over JKUAT on Saturday 18 October.

Blad dominated this fixture for large spells, racing into a 22-0 lead with fifteen minutes to play, they eased off to allow JKUAT to land two tries, one of which was successfully converted before killing off the Cougars with a late try.

USIU defeated Kenya Cup bound Catholic Monks 25-14 in the preceding semi final.

Ofafa Jericho signaled their intent to retain the title, a 43-0 result over Makini earning them a berth in next Saturday’s final against Laiser Hill who posted a 20-12 semi final win over former champions Alliance.
