Resolution Impala Saracens are off to a beautiful start in the 2019 Great Rift 10s tournament currently being played at the Nakuru Athletic Club.
Although Nondies looked the better side going into the match, Impala cracked out of their shell to score a first try through Elvis Oroko. This try was made possible by Derrick Wechuli’s hard running at the wing. Emmanuel Okeya attempted to convert, but his boot struck the post and dropped back into the field.
HT: Resolution Impala Saracens 5-0 Nondies
Nondies failed to cover base & Patrick Mutuku did not waste time swinging the sword. He punched between the fringe defenders scoring a try in an acrobatic backstroke style, unique only to himself. He completed his show with a neatly struck conversion. Spencer Obiero, the young man who has grown through the Standard Chartered Impala Saracens Academy & completed his high school education at the Nairobi School with an A- grade, kicked a clever grubber for Okeya to collect. Although Okeya scored, he failed to convert
