RESOLUTION Impala Saracens has made seven changes, two positional to the starting line up that beat Mean Machine RFC 46-6.
Utility prop, Steve Juma makes his first start for the Gazelles this season, at tighthead, after a layoff forced by injury. He comes in for Anthony Orege who’s unavailable due to family commitments.
Blindside flanker Joel Omer, captain and no. 8 Duncan Ekasi, flyhalf Mohammed Omollo and blindside winger Leon Adongo all come into the starting team.
The two positional changes see Anthony Nyandigisi move from flyhalf to inside centre and Tyson Okoth from last weekend’s blindside to lock. Kenya lock Simon Muniafu is unavailable for work commitments.
“Any away match presents unique challenge. The Bull Ring will be no different. It’s a challenge we have embraced and are looking to impose our style early in the game.
Theirs tends to be a fluid physical offloading game. We’ll have to check that to progress in this match,” says Fred Ollows, Impala’s Director of Rugby.
On paper, Western Bulls are 11th with 9 points after playing 10 matches. Impala are 5th with 31 points having played 9 matches. This won’t count for much, at kickoff.
