Laiser Hill win schools title
laiserHill

Laiser Hill capped an impressive 2014 season, adding the Impala Floodlit Schools title to the their Prescott Cup triumph, posting a 30-10 win over outgoing champions Ofafa Jericho.

Laiser Hill went 3-0 up through John Oliale’s penalty, extending this lead through unconverted tries from Steve Anthony and Keith Hagono as they took a 13-0 lead into the breather.

Edward Oloo extended their lead after the break, his unconverted try seeing them go 18-0 up but Ofafa were not going down without a fight. They scored two unconverted tries through Patrick Mutuku and Chris Omondi to make for tense moments with the scores at 18-10 but Laiser weathered the storm, Joel Inzuga landing two tries with Mark Onsando converting one for the result, Laiser Hill’s maiden Floodie title, a win that they dedicated to their former forwards coach Anthony Ochino who passed away in March this year.
