RESOLUTION Impala has made seven changes to the starting lineup versus Mean Machine, this weekend. The Gazelles lost the Ngong Road derby 26-36 last weekend at the RFUEA Grounds.

Patrick Mutuku, the former Impala Academy player and Ofafa Jericho captain, plays his third match for the Gazelles.

“Patrick has been developing well, is consistent and has good set of skills and running that should put him in good stead against Machine. He just needs to relax, take things in his stride and for the team to make him comfortable” says Fred Ollows, Director of Rugby at Impala Saracens.

Otherwise, in other backline changes, Anthony Nyandigisi moves to fly half from centre, David Dinda partners Mutuku, at inside centre while George Okowa starts at fullback.

In the forwards unit, James Kubasu and Daniel Ndome start at loosehead  and hooker replacing Edgar Obino and Kelvins Karani respectively from last weekend. Obino and Karani sit on the replacements pine.

Kenya lock Erick Kerre returns to to the starting line up by replacing Davis Makori who is unavailable due to work commitments.

The backrow sees club captain Duncan Ekasi start from the bench. Utility backrow Paul Mutsami replaces him at starting no. 8. Joel Omer starts at blindside flanker while  Tyson Okoth comes to the more familiar openside flank.

Mohammed Omollo has played all of this year’s fixtures at flyhalf will be on the replacements bench.

Robin Kiplangat takes up the flyhalf role in the Boks team while Richard Sidindi and Leon Adongo are replacements, once again.Prop Stephen Juma and lock Edwin Gatungo are the other replacements.
