The Kenya “A” squad to take on Hong Kong in Tuesday evening’s Tatu City Series opener at the Impala Club was named on Monday morning.
Former Simbas and Kenya Sevens captain Innocent “Namcos” Simiyu will skipper the side that is a mix of proven and emerging talent.
There is a look in for emerging names in the form of Kabras Sugar lock George Nyambua, immediate former Kenya U19 skipper Tyson Okoth, KCB’s Peter Kilonzo and Menengai Cream Homeboyz hooker Philip Ikambili as well as the experienced former Kenya Sevens lot of Patrice Agunda, Mike Agevi, Dan Sikuta.
Team Manager Wangila Simiyu, speaking to Kenya Rugby, said, “ We have worked out a delicate mix as we set out to select a very competitive squad for the match against Hong Kong. “
