THE Resolution Impala Saracens technical team has made six changes to the Boks team that made a comeback to win 24-20 versus Menengai Cream Homeboyz II, last weekend.
Joshua Momanyi makes his first start of the season at tighthead prop in place of Stephen Ayora who starts off the bench.
Kevin Okeyo and Erick Kopondo start in place last weekend’s pair of Dan Otela and Bakata Elisapana.
The backrow remains unchanged with Edwin Gatungo, Steve Shammah and Paul Oimbo.
Former Kenya captain Moses Kola starts off the bench. Ian Mabwa starts in his place at scrumhalf. Jeremy Mwambu comes to the fore at flyhalf where Mabwa was, last weekend.
Quinto Ongo starts at right wing in place of last weekend’s Leon Adongo. Adongo sits on the Kenya Cup bench, this week.
“We want to start with a bit more grunt than we did last week. That’s why the tight five looks like it does this weekend,” says the Director of Rugby, Fred Ollows.
“We’re the defending champions in this league and are unbeaten as yet. The boys will be keen to remain so. They have been playing some good rugby and will be well motivated to continue that way”
