The Resolution Impala Saracens Gazelles are an upbeat lot this weekend. The team which on Saturday 13th Jan 2018 accepted to play in a tactical friendly match against Mwamba RFC II and humbled them 48-8 will be seeking to repeat last season’s activities against Kenya Harlequins II.
In a strategic decision, the technical bench has decided to maintain the youthful front row of Victor Ochieng, Joshua Matasi & Mike Munyua. Kenya Simbas flanker – Eric Kerre will start at lock, replacing Harritone Munai whose services will be employed at blind-side flank in the 4pm fixture. The backrow of 3 time MoTM Evans Omondi, Elvis Oroko & Valentino Cosmas is maintained. Ian Mabwa & Kanyiri Kariuki start at 9 & 10 respectively. David Moenga is out of action this weekend facing challenges with fitness. Richard Sidindi readily picks up his left wing jersey. Robert Aringo starts at inside centre. George Okowa plays at outside centre. Douglas Ochako makes his comeback to start at right wing. Mark Kwemoi, whose boot took care of Quins the last time the two teams met at the ESS Semis on 8th April 2017 & drove Impala to a 32-12 win starts at fullback.
