Resolution Impala Saracens Boks beat Kabras II
IMPALA VS KABRAS II-31

Impala winger – Quinto Ongo announced his team’s intent to compete in this match when he went over the line to score. Kanyiri Kariuki missed the conversion. Kabras’ kicker for the day – Kelly Akeng’o reduced Impala’s lead to only 2 points when he booted over beautifully. Impala had two penalty-scoring opportunities through Kanyiri & fullback – Mark Kwemoi, but both attempts blew wide. Kabras’ huge carrying ability was influential in them scoring their only try of the game through Saidi Osieko. Akeng’o converted to flip matters at the Impala Club: 10-5 – Kabras in the lead. Richard Sidindi’s hunger for dominance was in explicit display when he raced past Kabras defenders, scoring near the posts to level the scoreboard, but Kanyiri’s attempt at converting & sending Impala into the lead missed the mark.

Halftime: Resolution Impala Saracens Boks 10-10 Kabras

A massively improved Boks scrum was very important in keeping Kabras on the back foot. Defence having been stepped up many notches higher than last weekend intimidated the sugar men into chaotic shambles. Mark Kwemoi took advantage of Kabras indiscipline deep in Impala 22.  His quick ‘tap & go’ and the ensuing 80 metre run ended at the try box. Ongo’s kick for the conversion narrowly missed the mark. Two tries scored by Jesse Ngesa & Paul Oimbo which Ongo converted with finesse ensured Impala’s win.
