RESOLUTION Impala Saracens Boks ran over Mean Machine RFC II to continue an unbeaten run yesterday afternoon at the Impala Club.
Billy Omondi’s try scored under the posts 120 seconds after kick off opened up the score-sheet. Quinto Ongo, who was strategically played in the Boks side last weekend against Quins and rallied a win was sure with the conversion.
Moenga was second to go over in the 24th minute, but Ongo missed the conversion.
Carlos Raoul registered his name on the scorers’ sheet. Ongo complemented his efforts, booting over conversion for a 19-0 scoreline at the 27th minute.
Machine almost score try
Machine could have scored a try after Centre David Moenga casually spilt the ball on a catch. Ian Mumbwani’s pace caught up with Flexi Mateyo, forcing him to offload it to Ruben Ndogo who spilt it with only 3 metres left to the try box.

Moenga collects brace
Fantastic build up & continuity from the Boks forwards opened up mismatch for Moenga to stride through Machine defence. His 48th minute try converted by Ongo stretched Impala’s lead by 26 unanswered points.
Valentino Cosmas, who received a starting role at 8th man this weekend went over the chalk after maul. Ongo converted this 55th minute try, extending the Boks’ lead. 33-0 Impala
Flanker Elvis Oroko was spotted going over the try line 2 minutes later but referee Beryl Akinyi denied him the 5 points citing infrigement by Impala in the build up. Mean Machine’s Churich Oyoko was sent to the bin for dangerous play in the 73rd minute.
Quinto Ongo dotted at the 77th minute. Robin Kiplang’at failed to convert.
