Sepetuka 7s: Impala Drawn In An Exciting Pool A
IMPALA vs CUEA Prinsloo edited 4-25

Resolution Impala Saracens have been drawn in Pool A of the inaugural Sepetuka 7s to be played at the Eldoret Sports Club this Saturday 30th September & Sunday 1st October 2017.

Pool A has been touted as one of the most challenging, as it features 2 leg winners, a massively improved outfit & an unpredictable university side.

Resolution Impala Saracens will face Kenya Commercial Bank Lions for a 3rd time in the 2017 National Sevens Circuit. The first time these teams went against each other and at low altitude, Impala ran away with the honors, a 17-7 win that ensured Impala’s sail to the Main Cup Quarters as KCB got related to the Challenge Cup. When the teams met the next weekend at the Kabeberi 7s Quarters, Impala won 17-0, went all the way to the finals & retained the Kabeberi 7s trophy. KCB form is greatly improved. They beat every team they met enroute winning the Prinsloo 7s last Sunday. It will be interesting to watch how both teams turn out on Saturday at 9.30 a.m & at high altitude. This will be the first match of the Sepetuka 7s Division 1 competition.

It will be the first time Impala is coming face to face with Mwamba RFC since start of the 2017 National Sevens Circuit. Mwamba have recorded immense improvement since Kabeberi 7s. The team played in the Challenge Cup at Kabeberi, but pulled off shockers at the Nakuru Athletic Club last weekend, driving into the quarters only to lose to Homeboyz at the death (12-17). The team finished 6th after losing 12-31 to Kabras in the 5th place play-off. The Impala vs Mwamba match shall be played at 12.30 pm

Although Resolution Impala Saracens have met & beat CUEA Monks on two occasions, first in the preliminary stages of the Kabeberi 7s (26-0), the Gazelles started the Prinsloo 7s Challenge Cup Quarters trailing 0-5 in the first half but later won 34-5. A big start in this match is what the Gazelles should be looking at this weekend. This match is scheduled for 2.50 p.m
