Emmanuel Ochieng & Collins Chogo will start at loosehead prop & hooker respectively, taking up Steve Juma & Joshua Matasi’s jerseys. Juma & Matasi will play in the 4pm fixture against Strathmore this Saturday 24th February 2018. Tight-head prop – Mike Munyua is retained to start in the 2pm fixture.

Joseph Shem starts at lock. He replaces Edwin Gatungo who will not be involved in action this weekend. Richard Asante is the only player retained in the backrow that went against Nakuru RFC II on 10th February 2018. Eric K’Opondo is unavailable & his position is taken up by a massively improved blind-side flanker – Wambiri Chege. 8th man – Valentino Cosmas starts off the bench. His position is taken up by Steve Shammah whose hunger for excellence has been effervescent. Shammah has also been confirmed as match day captain for this tie.

Bernard Rotich starts at scrum-half. Ian Mabwa, who started in this position on the 10th, starts off the bench. One change has been made in midfield; Carlos Raoul starts at inside centre, replacing Joash Ngesa. Ngesa will not be involved in competitive rugby this weekend. Patrick Mutuku, who was mentioned by Head Coach – Frank Ndong’ as one of the stand-out players when Impala sneaked a 29-27 win against Chipu on Monday 19th February in a friendly match, retains his outside centre position. 2 changes have been made to the back three. On the left wing, Billy Omondi replaces David Moenga & at fullback, Sidindi Richard replaces Mark Kwemoi. Both Moenga & Kwemoi will not be involved in contact this weekend.
