After a near successful outing in Nakuru 5 days ago, coach Nick Odera has come out guns blazing. So intense was his team calling session today that a few of the Le Pav faithfuls have christened the weekend – ‘ The Kabeberi Assault’. This squad homogenizes experience, strength and talent. The big boys have been brought in & we expect nothing less of a thriller every time these 7 boys run out of the holding area.
Nyikuli Brian who held his own and played a crucial part in the team’s attack and ruthless defence retains his jersey. He is joined by Davis Makori whose superb ball carrying skils were on display over the past weekend. A tall & speedy legged Ian Minjire receives the call to pull on a jersey after missing out on 4 legs of the circuit. Robert Aringo who couldn’t have a chance to cause earthquakes in Suguta valley last weekend has confirmed availability for the assault. The hardworking Mutsami Paul, fearless line breaking Samuel Motari, rough diamond Sidindi Richard, fast running Pius Shiundu and a mathematical Okowa George get passes into the RFUEA. A significant inclusion into the team is long serving fly half Nato Simiyu who missed out of Prinsloo due to confidential reasons. The team which has been grouped in Pool D together with Kabras, Kisii RFC and the CUEA Monks shall be captained by none other than Samson Onsomu
