The Standard Chartered Impala Saracens Ladies team finish 2nd at KRU Ladies tournament
C7SN8GbWkAIojmS

The Standard Chartered Impala Saracens ladies team outperformed themselves yesterday.

The side which had never made it to the main cup semis in previous tournaments shocked many when they first upset Nakuru Ladies 17-7. They then went ahead to unapologetically beat powerhouse Homeboyz 10-0. A massive 29-0 win over Comras ensured a top of the pool finish.

The ladies drilled two tries, one converted, against Mwamba Ladies in the Main Cup semi-final but fell 5-31 to the Northern Suburbs in the Main Cup final.

This is the first ever Cup final appearance for the side which has always finished 5th in the past 3 legs played at Kenyatta University, USIU & KCB Sports Club.
