Latest news from the KRU is that Resolution Impala Saracens Gazelles captain Duncan Ekasi had scored a total of 10 tries in the 2016/17 Kenya Cup before Impala bowed out of the League after an 18-21 loss to Kabras. Ekasi trails Humphrey Kayange (14 tries) whose team – Mwamba RFC also bowed out of the league after a 31-32 loss to Kenya Harlequins.
Leon Adongo, who returned to top flight action in the second half of the league is clustered with Pius Shiundu of Kenya Harlequins and Collins Shikoli of Homeboyz at 9 tries. Shindu & Shikoli’s side – Quins & Homeboyz RFC respectively are still up for Kenya Cup contention & it will be interesting to watch how this scorers’ list turns out next week.
